North American Fiddlers' Hall of Fame
Set in a converted farmhouse nestled in a serene rural setting, the Fiddlers' Hall of Fame and Museum honors "every fiddler who has ever made hearts light and happy with the fiddle's liliting music."
Established in 1976 by the New York State Old Tyme Fiddlers' Association, the Hall of Fame preserves the history and promotes the art of fiddle playing and related dances
Displays include photographs and memorabilia on fiddling and country dance.
The library preserves and collects recordings of old tyme fiddlers. The art of fiddling continues at the Hall's major events, which include concerts by contemporary fiddlers, music-centered picnics and hoedowns.
